Steep Creek constructed a new concrete wall adjacent to the existing dam and installed a gate valve for flow control. This project improved the dam’s structural stability, enhanced water management capabilities, and provided more reliable and controlled water flow regulation. To complete the project, a wooden pedestrian bridge was installed.
