Maxwell Street 18-inch Sewer Interceptor – Siloam Springs, AR

Strengthening Downtown from the
Ground Down

Steep Creek constructed approximately 1,100 linear feet of new 18-inch-diameter sanitary sewer interceptor along Maxwell Street in downtown Siloam Springs, extending between Main Street and Flint Place. This improvement increased wastewater conveyance capacity in the downtown area and reduced the risk of sanitary sewer overflows during peak flow and storm events. The new interceptor enhanced system reliability, supported existing and future development, and improved the City’s wastewater collection system’s overall operational efficiency.
