About the Position
Duty Location(s): Conway, Arkansas, USA; Marshall, Arkansas, USA; Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Term: Temp and/or Full Time
Essential Functions:
Steep Creek is currently advertising (3) entry level Crew Member Type 2 positions. These positions will support operations for construction and land management activities throughout Arkansas.
Responsibilities
-
Assist with maintaining a safe and clean worksite
-
Assist other crew members complete project related tasks
-
Assist in prescribed fire operations
-
Handle and transport materials and equipment
-
Operate power tools, chainsaws and equipment as needed
-
Follow instructions from project leadership
-
Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Requirements
-
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)

Familiarity with power tools and machinery

Clear and concise communication skills
-
Commitment to safety
Auto Safety Policy: This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with Steep Creeks Auto Safety Program. Employees may not drive Steep Creek-owned/leased vehicles, rental cars, or personal vehicles on behalf of the Steep Creek if considered "high risk drivers." Employment in this position will be contingent upon completion of a Vehicle Use Agreement, which may include a review of the prospective employee's motor vehicle record.
